FITI is non-resident training institute incorporated as public limited company housed inside FITI Building located at Changeney, Thimphu opposite to department of youth and sports just off Genyen Lam. It is easily accessible from almost any location and only 60 minutes drive from Paro International Airport. See map of our location.

The newly completed FITI Building is equipped with state of art, well-structured and complete training/ meeting facilities whose configuration can be oriented towards workshops/ seminars, instructor-led facilitation and public forum discussion, and premiering movies for exclusive guests with its own dedicated on-site parking for 20 odd cars. The institute too houses dinning room and refectory to facilitate in-house catering complemented with internal PA System for announcement as well to create relaxed ambience.

The Building is also designed to facilitate much needed free flow of natural lights with some floors’ restrooms serviced with solar heated water. The building too is fitted with fire/ smoke detector and fire exit staircase.

Lastly, Jachung Security Services Pvt. Ltd. secures FITI Building round the clock.

Facilities

  • 4 training rooms, each with a maximum seating capacity of 25 heads;
  • 1 training room that can be configured to 70 delegates and use it for corporate events/ management meeting/ host banquet;
  • 1 computing lab with 23 desktops wired to dedicated-leased line.
  • 1 Video Conferencing Hall with a maximum seating capacity of 25 people;
  • 1 Auditorium fixed with 52-theater seating (12 movable chair can be added);
  • 1 Boardroom that can accommodate maximum of 9 members;
  • 1 library room (soon to be stacked with reports, journal, report and facilitate e-Library);
  • Cafeteria (walk in) with 24 seating at ground floor supplemented by 30 seating dining room at 3rd floor.

 

All above facilities are provisioned with the following services and equipment:

  • Floor heating system in all training/meeting rooms and Fan Coil Unit in auditorium;
  • Motorized projector screen with ceiling mount Projector in all training/ meeting rooms;
  • Fixed lacquered glass writing board with movable white-boards and flipcharts in all training/ meeting rooms;
  • High-end sound system with portable cordless microphone and body-pack microphone (wireless) in auditorium;
  • Television (TV) stationed in dinning rooms;
  • Modular table with comfortable chair;
  • 24 hrs. Internet leased line;
  • All rooms/ halls connected to main PABX system, and
  • Backup diesel generator for the lift system and all essential points and rooms.

 

We offer to external clients:

  •  Hire of all above venues either on a half or full day basis:
  • Auditorium, rooms for meetings or corporate events with data projectors, flipcharts and whiteboards that can be configured to 25/ 62/ 70 delegates;
  • Training rooms available for hire to freelance trainers, individuals or businesses;
  • Catering as required, and
  • Competitive rates.

Catering

Refreshment breaks, tea/coffee, fruit juice and water will be arranged to suit your needs. Light Lunches (working lunch/ dinner), cocktail snacks and hot or cold buffet meals can be provided to be consumed in our warmly outsourced refectory and dinning room. Filtered hot/ cold water (water dispenser) is provided at every floor.

Concierge and Other services 

Photocopy and fax facilities exist, e-Mail can be read from our machines, which have a permanent Internet connection. Additional services, which can be arranged on request, include Name Badges, Flower Arrangements, Photographs, Secretarial Services, Photocopying, Faxing and Message Handling.
