1st Batch of Action Learning Workshop: Coaching skills for Managers for the employees of Bank of Bhutan ended today. (30th Sept – 2nd October, 2019)
In most of our organization, people at the division head level, who are responsible for dealing with the largest number of direct reports have little knowledge about how to go about supervising and conversing with their employees for better performance.
We tend to focus on the results, but do very little about helping employee, who ultimately are responsible for the result. What we realized, is that the coaching role, which is essentially about the skills set that helps you engage your subordinates and enhance their performance was missing, or at least not developed in a systematic manner.
Thus, this training was designed specifically and purposefully to give participants the skill set necessary to address issue faced by the colleague that are getting in a way of good result, whether it is a skill set gap or mind set gap.
