Dasho Penjore is the Chairperson of FITI Board. Dasho was appointed as the Governor of the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan in December 2015. Dasho started his career in the Royal Monetary Authority in 1987 and served as the Deputy Managing Director from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, he was appointed as the Chief Chamberlain to His Majesty the King of Bhutan and was conferred Red Scarf Title of “Dasho” in 2008 for his distinguished service to the nation. Before he was appointed as the Governor, he was the Chief Executive Officer of National Pension & Provident Fund of Bhutan. Dasho Penjore completed his Masters in Economics from Northeastern University, Boston, USA. His Majesty the King awarded Druk Thuksey Medal to Dasho Penjore during the National Day Celebrations in December 2017 for his dedicated service to the nation.
Mr. Sumesh Kumar is currently serving as the CEO of Druk PNB Bank limited.
Mr. Pema Wangdi was the Chief Executive Officer of Rural Enterprise Development Corporation Limited (REDCL). Prior to the current posts he was with erstwhile Business Opportunity and Information Centre (BOIC) as the Director for Business Development, Research and Training Department. He started his career in 1996 as Lecturer at the Royal Institute of Management teaching Corporate Finance, Commercial Accounting and other management modules and resigned in 2010 as Sr. Lecturer and Head of Department of Finance & Business. The same year he entered the corporate world as General Manager, Marketing & Business Development with the Natural Resources Development Corporation Ltd. and worked till March 2013. He has a Master Degree in Business Management from Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines and B.Com (H) from Sherubtse College, Bhutan under Delhi University. He is a recipient of CMO’s (Consortium of Management Organization’s) Asia’s Best B-School Award” of “Best Professor in Financial Management” and also a recipient of Principal’s Medal for Activities from Sherubtse College in 1995. He was selected for Royal Civil Service Commission Officers’ Cadre in 1996. He also serves as the Board Director to BDBL. He is the Chairman of Corporate Governance Board Committee, BDBL; Board member of Risk Management Board Committee, BDBL, Audit Board Committee, BDBL and a member of Project Management Unit, Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI).
Mr. Kencho Yeshey is a licensed Independent Insurance Surveyor, Loss Assessor and a Freelance Insurance Risk Consultant. He has more than 18 years of experience in Insurance and Reinsurance Industry. Prior to his current job, he worked in various underwriting, claim, reinsurance and management positions in RICBL, Phuentsholing and Asian Re, Bangkok, Thailand. He has a Diploma in Civil Engineering, AII from Insurance Institute of India and ACII from Chartered Insurance Institute, UK. He also holds an International Certificate in Property Valuation and is a Chartered Insurance Risk Manager.
Mr. Tshen Norbu, is currently serving as Director, Operations at NPPF. He has Masters in Professional Accounting (MPA) from Edith Cowan University, Western Australia and Bachelors Degree (Economics Honours) from Sherubtse College, Kanglung. Prior to joining NPPF, he was with Ministry of Finance for 20 plus years and entered the corporate world as General Manager, Commercial Department with Dungsam Cement Corporation Limited (DCCL). He also served Druk PNB Bank Limited as Senior Vice President.
