Today, on 29th July 2023, the 3-day training programme on ‘Finance for Non-finance’ successfully concluded. The program was attended by 29 participants from various Financial Service Providers (FSPs). During the basic level of the training, the core concepts of finance, principles of financial management, and the accounting equation were comprehensively covered.
The participants were equipped with fundamental skills to proficiently read and comprehensively understand financial statements, thereby empowering them to make informed and effective financial decisions.
Throughout the training program, participants received in-depth instruction on how to interpret financial statements, including the Income Statement, Statement of Financial Position, and Cash Flow Statement. They learned to identify key financial indicators, such as revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, and cash flows. Additionally, the training focused on explaining the significance of each financial metric and how they interrelate to provide a comprehensive view of an organization’s financial health.
