With today’s financial landscape becoming increasingly borderless, the need to know globally standardised set of regulations for trade is even more crucial. Banks and lenders are subject to the Uniform Customs & Practice for Documentary Credit (UCP), which aims to standardize international trade, reduce risks of trading goods and services and govern trade.
Bankers who want to have a competitive edge and remain relevant in this fast-changing industry, must be well versed with Letters of Credit and the UCP 600 rules so that they can provide invaluable advice to their clients in structuring effective Trade Finance solutions.

Therefore, FITI in collaboration with Asian Banking School (ABS), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, conducted 3 days training program on “Trade Finance – Understanding Letters of Credit and UCP 600” from August 14 – 16, 2018.
